Check that nanny before entering your house

Image
By Dickson Tumuramye    There has been a video clip circulating on social media of a lady checking a case of a woman she was employing as her maid. This maid had witchcraft in her case, and when she was asked the purpose of it, she confessed that it is used to seduce husbands.   It coincided with what my friend shared with me two weeks ago. She received this maid in her home, and before checking into her bedroom, she asked her to open her bag to check what was in there. This is her custom to check the maids at arrival and exit.   She was shocked that this lady had a lot of witchcraft hidden in her bag. She also confessed that it helps her to put it either in meals or bathing water to entice a man to sleep with her. Another person narrated on social media how she encountered the same situation and got the same confession from a maid. The maid told this lady that for all the homes where she worked, the marriages never stay at peace until she leaves.   Such maids with that

What husbands should learn from Joseph, Mary’s husband

By Dickson Tumuramye I imagine what I could have done if I were the one told that my wife was pregnant by the Holy Spirit. After learning that his fiancée Mary was pregnant, Joseph decided to end the engagement quietly. But consider how he reacted when the angel confirmed the pregnancy: he did what the angel said and married Mary. Wow! (Matthew 1:18–24). When the child was eight days old, he was circumcised, named Jesus, and taken to the temple for dedication to the Lord. They also offered sacrifices to the Lord (Luke 2:21–24). We also learn that every year, Jesus’ parents retur

By Dickson Tumuramye Setting targets is one way to keep yourself focused on what you aim to achieve. You could have had targets or set goals for 2022, where some were successful and some were not. A new year means another chance to achieve your life goals. Your targets should reflect who you are, what you live for, what you intend to accomplish this year, and where you intend to be in the future. Celebrate your successes in 2022 Every milestone in life matters, and it is worth celebrating. Failure to appreciate what you have done well and where you have come from may deny you an opportunity to learn new things in the new year. This is your time to cheer up and move forward with what you feel is worthwhile and can be done this year. Reward yourself for your accomplishments in the past year. Ultimately, you are not an angel who can achieve everything. We set goals but it is God who fulfills them (Proverbs 16:3,9). Reflect on failures for 2022 Reflect on the things you did not realize in
